PEANUT BUTTER FUDGE



 1/2 cup margarine
1 lb light brown sugar
1/2 cup milk
3/4 cup smooth or crunchy peanut butter
1 tsp vanilla
1 lb confectioners sugar

In medium saucepan, melt butter;  stir in brown sugar and milk.  Bring to a boil.  Boil and stir 2 minutes.  Remove from heat, stir in peanut butter and vanilla.  Mix in confectioners sugar slowly.  Beat until smooth.  Spread into a buttered 9x13 pan or plate.  Chill until firm if desired.  Cut into squares.  Makes 3 pounds.
